Governor of Mangystau Region Nurdaulet Kilybay Congratulated the Public on the Landmark Occasion

Today, during the grand opening ceremony of the “Aktau – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” year, the Akim (Governor) of Mangystau Region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, congratulated the assembled residents and guests on the historic celebration.
Distinguished Guests!
Welcome to a land where hospitality is sacred!
The Kazakh steppe is the shared homeland of the Turkic peoples. We are a united nation – with common blood, honor, and soul – whose herds graze together and whose leaders gather side by side. We are brothers.
President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev has emphasized that turning the Turkic world into a vital economic and cultural space in the 21st century is a key priority.
The leaders of our brotherly nations place great importance on strengthening unity among Turkic peoples. Our gathering today in Aktau, the pearl on the shores of the ancient Caspian, is proof of this shared vision.
One trait deeply embedded in Turkic blood is generosity – even offering their last horse for a guest. Kazakhs have always been renowned for their hospitality. As vast as our land is, so too is the generosity of our spirit.
Our home is always open for our Turkic brothers. In our tradition, a guest is a blessing, and we welcome them with the warmth of family.
Dear Friends!
Let me share the words of a great son of this land, the prominent statesman and public figure who made a significant contribution to the Turkic world – Abish Kekilbayuly:
“Mangystau is a magnificent epic jointly created by History and Nature, a marvelous painting they crafted together, a profound chronicle they composed side by side.”
So, come to Mangystau – the land of legends and sages, saints and warriors! – said Nurdaulet Kilybay.
